Launching the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

Brand Activation Photography and Video in Paris: Launching the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

From a motorcycle designed to fall from the sky to an all-electric machine landing in Paris.

We recently travelled to Paris to provide brand activation photography and video for the European launch of the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6, working alongside experiential marketing network Go Live. Over three days, our crew captured the bike, the locations, the people and the atmosphere, and delivered finished social media content while the event was still unfolding.

Here’s how we approached it, and what it shows about getting real value from event photography and event video.

A brand story 80 years in the making

The Flying Flea name carries real heritage. The original lightweight Royal Enfield motorcycle was designed during the Second World War to be dropped by parachute alongside airborne troops. More than 80 years later, its all-electric successor, the Flying Flea C6, made a very different kind of landing: a launch in the heart of Paris.

A story like that deserves content that does it justice. Our job was to make sure every photograph and every clip reflected both the heritage and the forward-looking, electric future of the brand.

What we delivered

Our team provided combined photography and video production across the full three-day event, covering:

  • Product photography and video of the Flying Flea C6 itself
  • Location content making the most of some stunning Parisian backdrops
  • People and experiences, from guests and riders to the moments that made the launch feel alive
  • Atmosphere and detail shots to give the brand’s teams a rich library to draw on
  • Edited, social-ready video and images delivered during the event, not weeks later

From sunrise to midnight, we were filming, photographing, editing and delivering. Running photography and video as one joined-up crew meant a single point of contact, a consistent visual style across stills and motion, and no gaps in coverage.

Why speed matters for brand activations

A brand activation or product launch creates a short window of attention. The conversation happens on the day, and the content that performs best is the content shared while people are still talking.

Because we edited and delivered on site, the client’s teams could post professionally produced content in real time, rather than waiting until everyone was back home. That’s the difference between joining the conversation and reporting on it afterwards.

Working this way takes planning. Before the event, we agree shot lists, formats and aspect ratios for each platform, approval routes and delivery schedules, so that on the day the focus is on capturing the right moments and turning them around quickly.

An extension of the event team

For us, the best event work happens when we act as part of the wider event and communications team, not as a crew that turns up, films and leaves. In Paris that meant reacting to what was happening around us, working at pace, and making sure everything stayed on brand and on message.

It’s the same approach we take on every project: understand the objective, plan carefully, and make the process easy for the client. Big results, zero drama.

Frequently asked questions

What is brand activation photography and video?

Brand activation photography and video captures live marketing events, such as product launches, pop-ups, sampling campaigns and experiential activity, so the brand can share them across social media, PR, websites and internal channels. The aim is to extend the reach of an event well beyond the people who attend in person.

Can you deliver event content on the same day?

Yes. For the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 launch in Paris, we edited and delivered social-ready photography and video throughout the three-day event. We plan formats, approvals and delivery times in advance so content can go live while the event is happening.

Do you provide photography and video together?

Yes. We can supply a combined photography and video crew, which keeps the visual style consistent, simplifies planning and gives you one point of contact.

Do you work outside the UK?

Yes. We’re based in Stoke-on-Trent and work across the UK, and we travel internationally for projects such as the Royal Enfield launch in Paris.

What types of events do you cover?

We cover brand activations, product launches, experiential marketing, conferences, awards, graduations and corporate events, with options for photography, event video, social media content and live streaming.
