Inspired Film and Video is a full-service video production company based at Spode Works in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Founded in 2006, we produce corporate, brand, recruitment, documentary, animation, training and live-streamed content for NHS organisations, universities and colleges, local authorities and businesses across the UK.

Our in-house team of three directors and five full-time creatives handles every stage, from planning and filming to editing, animation and delivery.For 20 years we've helped organisations turn ideas, messages and stories into films that deliver. But great video production is about more than the final edit. Since 2006 our in-house producers, directors, camera operators, interviewers, editors and animators have worked in complex, regulated settings across the NHS, education and the public sector, where getting it right matters. Discovery call. We talk through your objectives, audience, timings and budget.
Proposal. You receive a clear, fixed-fee proposal with deliverables, timeline and review stages set out.
Pre-production. We plan the detail: script or interview questions, locations, schedule and call sheets.
Filming. A calm, organised shoot, with your brand and your people treated with care.
Edit and review. You see drafts at agreed stages, with simple, clearly defined feedback rounds.
Delivery. Final files in every format you need, including subtitled versions and social cuts.

Meet the team

Inspired is led by three directors and a full-time team of five creatives, all working in-house from our studio in Stoke-on-Trent. When a project needs extra hands or specialist skills, we bring in trusted freelancers, so you get the right people for the job without losing the personal service.

Daniel Stubbs

Managing Director

Dan co-founded Inspired in 2006 and sets the company's strategic direction. A film buff with a passion for people and their stories, he leads much of our documentary research, finding the voices and details that make a film ring true.

Ryan Lloyd

Creative Director

Ryan is at the heart of our projects, leading the creative vision from first idea to final edit. He plans, directs, shoots and edits, always looking for the approach that will make a film work harder for its audience, with close attention to detail at every stage.

Business Development Director

Mike makes sure your film is on message and does what you need it to do. He works with clients from the first conversation to shape the brief around their objectives, and keeps an eye on new ideas and technology that can get more from every budget.

Many of our team studied film at the University of Staffordshire, and we're proud to support the next generation of creative talent in Stoke and Staffordshire.

Based in Stoke-on-Trent, working across the UK

Our studio is at Unit 16, Spode Works, on the site of the historic Spode pottery works in Stoke-on-Trent. From here we work with clients across the Midlands, the North West and North Wales, and travel UK-wide for filming, with travel costs set out clearly in every proposal. We've also filmed overseas, including documentary work in France and the Czech Republic.

Inspired was founded in 2006, so 2026 is our 20th year in video production. Over that time we've worked with NHS trusts, universities, councils and businesses of every size, and kept our skills, equipment and methods moving with the industry, from live streaming to drone filming and animation.

What types of video does Inspired produce?

We produce corporate and promotional films, brand films and commercials, recruitment videos, training and e-learning content, documentaries, heritage films, animation and explainer videos, live streams and event coverage, drone footage and photography. Most projects include versions for websites, social media and internal channels, so one shoot delivers a full set of content.

Who does Inspired work with?

We work with NHS trusts and healthcare providers, universities and colleges, local authorities and government departments, museums and heritage organisations, tourism bodies and businesses from SMEs to national brands. Is your production team in-house?

Yes. Our core team of three directors and five full-time creatives covers producing, directing, filming, interviewing, editing and animation, all from our Stoke-on-Trent studio. For larger productions we add trusted freelancers. Because the core team is in-house, you deal with the same people from the first call to final delivery.

How does Inspired manage a video project?

Every project follows six clear stages: discovery call, fixed-fee proposal, pre-production, filming, edit and review, and delivery. A director is your account manager, and each film has its own project manager who keeps you updated at every stage. Review rounds and deadlines are agreed before filming starts.

How much does a video cost with Inspired?

Every project is priced individually, because the cost depends on what you need: filming days, locations, animation and the number of edits and formats. After a short discovery call, we send a clear, fixed-fee proposal tailored to your project, so you know exactly what's included before any work starts.
