Inspired Internships Developing Local Talent

Developing local creative talent and keeping that talent in the local area has always been an important part of our ethos at Inspired. Over the last 15 years, we’ve offered work experience, internships and – probably most importantly – well-paid creative content positions to young people from across the local area – often Graduates of the two local Universities, Staffordshire University and Keele University. The Graduates we have worked with have been highly skilled, hard-working with great attitudes – testament to the quality of the courses available.

Our latest recruit – Jordan – has joined us on a paid internship. Jordan is a graduate of Staffordshire University’s fantastic Media Production course and he will graduate this Autumn with a First Class Degree. Jordan has joined us to gain important experience within film production and he’s already worked across the UK on a variety of shoots impressing our production staff and working well with our customers. Earlier this week he found himself on location in a windswept Staffordshire Moorlands working with a visiting German film crew so he’s already getting a good idea of the variety of challenges we often face. Next month he’ll be working at the Staffordshire University graduation ceremonies – although he has asked for one day off which we might be able to arrange for him!

Working with young creatives and recent Graduates is a great way for us to offer employment opportunities but it also helps keep us up to date with changes in styles, techniques and technologies.
